About 1761 ARTS
Formed in 2018, the mission of 1761 Arts is to foster collaborations (on both the individual & organizational levels) with the purpose of developing revolutionary ideas in the arts and humanities. For individuals, artist residencies and development labs are a fundamental component. At the organizational level, multi-disciplinary initiatives and programs are coupled with youth education (with a focus on both life skills and technical skills), mentorship, and respect for history. Over the years, 1761 Arts has partnered with a wide range of prestigious organizations on various community programs, including with Audio Engineering Society, Thomas Edison National Historical Park, Norman Rockwell Museum, and Barrington Stage Company, among others.
1761 Arts is a Vermont not-for-profit and a tax exempt, 501(c)(3) organization.
